Silver Lining || Look

I was so incredibly excited about this post... It speaks to me in so many ways! The most important thing in life is about being comfortable in your own skin, but being comfortable in what you wear takes things to entirely different level. This outfit was made for me by the talented F.Wilson Fashion. The attention to detail in their garments is what really makes them one of my favourite South African designers.

I got myself thinking quite a lot yesterday. Although I have achieved so much in such a short time, I feel like I really haven't accomplished much. And why? Why do I feel this way? These are the questions I still don't have answers to. But its okay, I tell myself that everyday. I wake up with a new idea and a plan to fulfil it. It makes me eager about life and the possibilities of it. No matter what happened in my past, theres always a new adventure waiting for me in the future.

Do you want to know what the mind of a creative person feels like?
Imagine a browser with about 2 847 tabs open.
All.The.Time.

You cannot even imagine the kind of plans I have for my life. Areas of my career, my family, my friends, my relationships. I have just realised I have got to take it one step at a time. I have my entire life to fulfil my dreams. Just focus on them one at a time and you are headed in the right direction. Prayer is key. Kindness doesn't cost you anything. There is always a silver lining on your cloudiest days.

So get up. Get Dressed. And take that step of faith. You should rather live your life saying "at least I tried" instead of "I should've".

Coffee Date || Look

The best part about being in the entertainment industry is that whenever I'm not on set, (Or writing a blog post), I can plan to meet up with friends. I love meeting new people and making new friends. Which brings me to our coffee date with talented photographer Tegan Smith.

I've known Tegan through social media, as she is the personal photographer for Baked The Blog. I have always been a fan of their work and absolutely loved the collaboration. Meeting Tegan for the first time was pretty unexpected. I basically dropped her a message about meeting up for coffee when she visited Johannesburg, and the rest was history.

Being someone who's fairly new to blogging, in comparison with people who have been doing this for 7 years and over, it was good getting some advice and tips about whats acceptable by bloggers and what's not. It's also a bonus when you can take pictures of your food before you eat it, without the person your having it with, thinking your weird.

Which now brings me to this look post. I love dressing up, even if its just to the mall for a quick coffee date. Tegan had her camera with her (Ofcourse) and with her eye for fashion, took a couple quick snaps for me. Yay!

I loved sharing whats the go-to places here in Joburg, and in turn she promised she'd show me all the awesome places to visit in Cape Town when I visit for the first time.

My Look:
