Me, Myself & Monochrome

It was a chilly weekend in the city of Johannesburg, South Africa this weekend and I was brave enough to step out in a cotton short sleeve shirt. Monochrome seems to be the big trend at the moment, I thought I'd give it a shot! 

Would you say? Hit? Or miss?

I am in love with the sock bun! Its by far the easiest hairstyle to do. I will be doing the tutorial on my blog and youtube channel soon! :) 

It was about 12 degrees outside and although it doesn't look like it, I was freezing! What was I thinking right? It comes with my territory I guess. Fake a smile and give them a pose, you only get one shot at this thing called life! 

I learnt a lot this weekend about myself - who I really am, what I really want, and where I want to be. I learnt that no one is going to help me make it to the top. Everybody is already trying to help themselves get there. Its really about helping myself, and believing in myself, knowing my strengths and weaknesses and about using my strengths to get me to where I want to be. 

I keep reminding myself about Psalm 37:4 NIV "Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart."

I'm so extremely lucky that I have all of you to experience this journey with, so that you can see me grow but keep me grounded.. and even if I fall, you will help me get up.

So, I dedicate this post to YOU, my reader! The person I am today is because of YOUR support!
